Gladstone Primary School draft policy on sex and relationship education 2017

Here is an example of what I consider good gender critical sex and relationship education. Note that children are taught that new life needs help from both male/female. 

Alongside this year 3 children are taught 

Gender Stereotyping

 Differences male/female babies

 Differences male/female animals

In year 4 they are again taught about challenging stereotypes and to name male and female body parts. I am posting this information here and will be checking back periodically to see if these lessons are changed in any way and to discuss how and why.

The policy was due to be revised in January 2019.
