Birchgrove Primary school policies bullying/equality/SRE

here is the Birchgrove anti bullying policy, last reviewed in July 2017.not they mention the protected characteristics but fail to mention sex.






Again, in their equalities policy (2014) the protected characteristics are noted.






Here is part of their Sex and Relationships Education Policy. Again biological fact is taught. A special note should be made that menstruation is spoken of as something that effects women.

this is interesting as the equalities act is prominently mentioned in their Ethos, behaviour and artitude’s policy and again ‘sex’ is replaced with ‘gender’ which is not a protected characteristic.
